Some 37 years ago, Judi S. Bradshaw left her country of origin, Jamaica to  attend Howard University School Of Law in Washington DC. She married a soldier and started a family but needed another source of income. She made the decision to go into the Insurance business with John Hancock Life Insurance Co. After nine short months with John Hancock, she was already rated the #1 agent. Shortly there after, her military husband was sent to Fort Jackson for his next assignment. She moved to South Carolina with her family and this was the last move her family would have to make. While working as an agent for NYL Insurance Co. during one of her usual days at a school in South Carolina, enrolling the faculty & staff with payroll reduction products, her life would change forever...

A staff member asked her one question, "Ms. Bradshaw what are you going to do when your company will not get me the coverage I need because of my size?" All she could do was stare at him with a blank look on her face. She was speechless! He pulled out a card and gave it to her. The card had the name, Ted Wilson Sr. on it, with his telephone number and address. Without any hesitation she left and went directly to the address on the card. She arrived at Wilson & Associates, which is presently known as Universal Benefits, Inc.

She has been with UBI ever since for over 20+ years. She is currently the Director of The Bradshaw Group which is a division of UBI. She has decades of experience and knowledge within the insurance industry.
